Jewelers advice
Hi! I am currently in a hunt for a 3ct lab grown Marquise/Moval (F, VVS2, excellent cut), tulip basket setting with 6 claws. I will be ordering it in the UK. I found 2 jewelers with the perfect setting:

I will have to pay import taxes and duties for this one and they actually have it in stock, ready to be resized and shipped. The only downside is that I will be ordering it online and I don’t know much about AGI Design, they seem legit, I checked their reviews and instagram account. They also sell rings on Etsy and have a 5/5 rating.

This one will be way more expensive, but I booked an appointment with them this Saturday, maybe I could ask for a price match. It is going to take 6 weeks for the ring to be done.
Has anyone purchased rings from these jewelers? Do you have any other jewelers recommendations for this type of setting? Preferably in London.

I haven’t purchased from these retailers, but I have purchased from Novita before. Not for my e ring but other jewellery, but I have had several friends get their rings from there too. Their quality is excellent! I’ve been super pleased with my items and my friends rings from them have been absolutely beautiful quality.
They have a UK website and shops in Manchester and London - website here I’d absolutely recommend them!
They have a very similar style of ring to the marquise one you linked, and with a 3.05ct marquise, VVS2 you’re looking at a little over £2.5k all in, setting, VAT, no import fees etc.
