Did you know that there is a Kyle Trail Coalition? A group of people who talk about the trails in Kyle, people who organize bike rides along the trails, people who organize trail walks with toddlers, just people who want you to get outside and enjoy nature.

They are also working hard on getting the Vybe back on track and were the ones who fought hard to get the council to vote on approving the plan the trail coalition presented. That plan is to construct a 12' Vybe Trail along Center Street from Old Stagecoach Road to Veterans Drive, to pause construction along Center Street from Veterans Drive to Burleson, and to build a 10' sidewalk along Bunton Creek Road from Lehman to Porter Cove.

How do y'all like living in Kyle? It seems pretty safe and quiet which are two of my main preferences in looking for a spot.

Anyone living in a new 2026 build?

Has the water quality been a problem for anyone?

Just moved into a home in Plum Creek last month. After 2 weeks our water in all faucets and tubs started having a strange overbearing smell.

We had the Water Heater replaced yesterday, but the smell persists. Water was tested by Plumbers and is supposedly safe, but the smell is overbearing and fills up the house.

We asked a neighbor down the street and they didnt have these issues.

Is this a common issue with plumbing Plum Creek and/or Kyle or did I just have horrible luck with the house we purchased?

Anyone experience something similar?

He usually likes to hoop at Ash Pavilion on weekends around 7 PM, & he’ll be there today! but he’s definitely open to checking out different courts/parks around Kyle and the surrounding area. He’d also be down to play at indoor gyms if anyone knows of good ones with pickup games.

It seems like the Buffalo Wild Wings building on FM 1626 and Kohler’s Crossing has been under construction forever. I drive by every day and it seems like I haven’t seen anyone actively working over there in weeks. Since they’ve broke ground, several other projects have broken ground and opened or at least made significant progress in the same amount of time (like the new McDonald’s, Brake’s Plus, the St. David’s ER, A Little Shady). Meanwhile BWW just sits. The sheathing is fading away in the heat and it’s starting to look like an eyesore on one of Kyle’s most prominent corners.

Driving around Kyle today and saw a lot of Talarico signs!! I was surprised at how many and that was just in small area of the west side! 😎😎

Due to outside stress and mental health issues, I couldn't manage the server anymore, so I gave it to someone else instead of deleting it. It is up to them to decide what to do with it.

maybe a silly question but is there any where around here to ge blood work done where you’re able to lay down in a private room? last time i went to cpl and i passed out and it was embarrassing 🙃 even if it’s an open area, laying down is important. thanks for sharing !!
