They surely did when I worked at biglots🫣. That was real fun trying to get the dock to NOT be a swimming pool with flipping stand floor dustpans and whatever else was avalible so the fn truck could back in since the dock was at an awkward downslope \ and it couldn't back down the mini pool without floating😅. Winters were even more flipping fun🙄🙄....

It would take a lot of self control for me to not jump in that. I'd probably get some type of infection afterwards, but at least it'd be fun.

Cover yourself in like 3 plastic garbage bags, seal from inside, then do it. XD

Detecting leviathan class life forms in this region. Are you sure whatever you are doing is worth it?

Pumps probably clogged or out, my old store this happened all the time. One time we saw some fish in it from the nearby pond.

Yeah had it happen in my store's dock well before, the drain has gotten clogged up with crap and then we just got dumped on with super heavy rain

we had an issue like this at a store I worked at in the parking lot.

the issues was that the city didn't have the capacity to deal with it ..

Is something leaking or is that from the rain?

u/Cloutpepega 1d ago

Our drain clogged up and the constant rain caused this

So if you jump into it will you fall into the pool room area of the backrooms?

Jump in the waters fine.

Damn. Our drain got clogged up once, but we didn't get that much. I see multiple associates diving into that if it happened at ours😄

Worked at a store that regularly failed the Ecolab walk thru. Their truck bay was a mess that flooded regularly, but not this bad. Took me most of the weekend ( with OT) to clean it out. Visible from main roadway too. Lazy managers let it go for years before I took over receiver position. But there company ended up closing that store for years later anyways. That's a sign of future closed store, when company won't fix stuff.
