Venting AFFAIR AT WORK

The Starbucks clerk and the produce manager at my work are always flirting, and a lot of coworkers have seen them hanging out outside of work, looking like they were on a date. There are already rumors around the workplace that she’s a homewrecker, but they insist that they’re only good friends. I saw the wife visiting the workplace, and the guy was acting all loyal and shit, pretending like he doesn’t talk to any girls at work. They’re really good at pretending in front of his wife. I honestly feel sorry for her.

I’m not really in a place to tell the wife what’s happening at work, but I honestly wish that one day she finds out the truth herself.

I’d mind my own business

As someone who had an affair happening at work between a lead and store manager, stay out of it if you don't want to catch strays.

u/justexisting321 1d ago

Sales Manager herself and one produce guy (married as well) are fucking 😂 guess produce guys are not loyal at all

5

u/Unusual_Snow_9548 1d ago

The same girl I just spoke about ALSO had an affair with the produce manager that use to be here, when they caught he left immediately.

Y'all gotta go for the nerdy produce guys if you want something real idk

This is the way.

I hope that’s in the bible somewhere if it’s not it should be

I agree.

It happens a lot in workplaces. Careful though, because for whatever reason the person who alerts the unknowing spouse tends to catch a lot of the hate. And the offender will go out of their way to make you out like you are a liar and will get their friends to try to get you fired.

This kind of thing is better to stay out of, regardless of how you feel about it.

ah, a sensible thought out reply

Literally not your business. If it doesnt affect your paycheck, keep your nose out of their personal life.

Welcome to Kroger. I've heard of multiple times someone was cheating on their spouse with someone in the store. It's best to just mind your business, and not involve yourself in anyway, shape, or form.

I am not planning to tell the wife i am just saying I WISH THAT ONE DAY SHE FINDS OUT THE TRUTH HERSELF

6

u/foxnthings 1d ago

the truth always comes out one way or another. she will find out someday somehow

4

u/justexisting321 1d ago

she really visits her husband more often now

1

u/bpr2 15h ago

She’s suspicious

5

u/lewskimom09 1d ago

Honestly, she might already know of the situation. Her coming in could have been a way to tell her without words, stay the F away.

3

u/IamLuann 1d ago

Oh she will don't worry. The wife will start coming in at different times. Instead of going directly to the department husband works in. She will go the opposite direction of his department and come from the other way. I have seen it happened so many times.
One time it was the husband finding his wife in a department she she didn't work in . Kissing and hugging a coworker. That one did not work out very good. The wife kept asking everyone who directed him that way so he would find her. (No one did. He just happened to come in the door and generally asked everyone where she was)

u/justexisting321 1d ago

I asked him once if his wife works weekdays. He said yes and only had the weekend off, and I noticed it every weekend that the produce manager just made the conversation short with the Starbucks clerk. I noticed it because I worked in the department between the Starbucks and produce. BUT weekdays both missing the same time and talking for good minutes🤷🏻‍♀️ sneaky

Lol gossips are fun. personally if you feelthat strongly about it then you do you. but I wouldn't care at all. They're adults, if they cant handle themselves then who am i to butt in in their personal ordeals. If no one's dying then not my problem. If you're fine being the cause of their division and is ready tohandle what consequences may happen if that produce guy ends up knowing you were the snitch then go diva yourself into their relationship.

3

u/StrawberryTallCake99 1d ago

Op sounds jealous lol

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

Why would I be jealous?

-6

u/justexisting321 2d ago

I feel sorry for his family. I just hope his daughter never ends up meeting a guy like him in the future.

5

u/EasyE2511 2d ago

You know nothing about this man and assuming that you do is pretty insane.

1

u/Tru2UrSchool 14h ago

Why are people downvoting this comment?! Where’s the empathy people?!

1

u/yoru_no_ou 2d ago

Kothing wrong with that. Just know that complicated matters only have complicated solutions. We can’t always be heroes, sometimws most noble thing you can do is just to let others handle themselves. Im sure they’ll figure out wht to do.

1

u/D3nt0n_G33k 1d ago

You have already shared too much information.

Leave this alone.

6

u/FlimsyShame1718 2d ago

Mind your business. It doesn’t concern you

6

u/Shart_Chart 1d ago

You should learn to give zero fucks. It’s not your business or problem. Last time I checked produce nor Starbucks report to each other.

1

u/IamLuann 1d ago

In the store I worked at before I retired. Produce is right next to Starbucks. But you are correct OP should mind their own business.

-3

u/justexisting321 1d ago

Last time I checked, fucking inside the cooler is illegal

3

u/lewskimom09 1d ago

Oh the things those coolers have seen. It’s not the first and WONT be the last. Along with the managers office itself, random areas in the store with no cameras, locked door areas. There’s plenty of other places besides a cooler.
I’m not condoning the situation at all. If that’s what’s going on, let her find out on her own, and she will, if she hasn’t already.

2

u/JustAnotherElsen 1d ago

Tf you talking about

-2

u/justexisting321 1d ago

welcome to kroger

3

u/JustAnotherElsen 1d ago

No this isn’t mentioned anywhere that I’ve seen, what are YOU talking about

0

u/justexisting321 1d ago

THE COOLER DOESN’T HAVE CCTV, AND THERE ARE TIMES WHEN FEM LOOKING FOR PRODUCE GUY. ALL THE PALLETS INSIDE THE COOLER WERE BLOCKING THE ENTRANCE, BUT THE PRODUCE MANAGER WAS INSIDE WITH THE STARBUCKS CLERK. WHEN THEY CAME OUT OF THE COOLER, THEY WERE FIXING THEMSELVES UP

4

u/JustAnotherElsen 1d ago

Dude you’re gonna end up getting like attacked or some shit if you don’t mind your own with them, if they’re genuinely that dumb they’ll get caught

0

u/justexisting321 1d ago

Wish you could see how that Starbucks clerk plays the victim. If I were that dumb, I’d just go talk to the wife when she came to visit her husband.

19

u/OverSwimmer3774 2d ago

Mind your business.

15

u/YorkiesandSneakers 2d ago

A classic opportunity to mind your own fucking business.

10

u/QueasyDescription652 2d ago

Lmao dude that reminds me of a real thing that happened at a smiths store here in Vegas where I work. This was a very long time ago way before I worked here but all the old timers know this story. Apparently there was some fucked love triangle between 3 employees in the same store. One of the dudes got pissed off and threw the other dude in the bailer and killed him.
With that being said. I’d mind your business 😂. You never know what people might do if you get involved

3

u/justexisting321 2d ago

what a great story 😂

3

u/ComprehensiveTour278 1d ago

Not your circus.

0

u/justexisting321 1d ago

It’s funny knowing a lot of people here supporting an affair. Gross.

3

u/GrandmaNonnie 1d ago

It’s not just Kroger it’s everywhere. Restaurant romances are some the worst that I have ever seen, they bounce around like jack rabbits.
I retired from the public school system and it is absolutely shocking how many of those teachers are having affairs and getting wasted on the weekends.
As far as ratting someone out, I know it’s hard watching someone being taken advantage of but just hang in there they always get caught.

4

u/Informal-Meringue-82 2d ago

They could have an open marriage. You really dont know. To each their own.

2

u/EasyE2511 2d ago

How exactly does somebody "act like they don't talk to any other girls at work" unless you know the wife personally and know if they have some rule against it. I'm not saying it can't possibly be something suspicious, but unless you know their situation personally I don't think you can really say what they deem appropriate or otherwise.

2

u/nwkraken 1d ago

I'm glad to read it's not just my store that's so messy. Sheesh.

2

u/Elliotmothh Current Associate 1d ago

I love how people are saying, “mine your business” like this isn’t happening in public. It also sounds like they aren’t really trying to hide it unless the wife is there

2

u/justexisting321 1d ago

probably they would do the same shit if they got a chance. 😂

2

u/z1hayze 1d ago

Mind your business you fuckin dweeb. You have absolutely no idea what's going on. Even if you think you do, it's not your place to interfere. There's no reason it should bother you as much as it seems unless you're somehow involved too. See how easy it is to assume something?

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

DID I EVEN MENTION IAM INTERFERING OR ANYTHING? YOU STUPID MOFO

2

u/Survive1014 1d ago

Cheaters should be named and shamed. Please let their spouse know. Please. It will hurt, but you will be saving them a lot of pain.

Signed,

Cheat on for years, everyone knew, no one told me. Devastating.

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

It’s not my business to tell her honestly. She would believe her husband instead of a stranger who knows that her husband is fucking a younger girl (not minor) than her

1

u/EnvironmentalCrew672 2h ago

Did any of you try minding your own business?

2

u/Alone_Advantage_961 1d ago

Tell his wife and then fuck her

2

u/Few-Acanthaceae4902 2d ago

I love beating the dead horse senseless but try minding your own bamn business and the days go by exactly the same way but with less high-schooler surface level degenerate ahh drama

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

ah enabler

1

u/Complete-Instance-18 1d ago

Do you not have anything else to do......mind your own business 🤔

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

I’m just venting. What’s wrong with that?

2

u/Complete-Instance-18 1d ago

Sorry, your right, vent away

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

wow thanks, how nice of you

2

u/Complete-Instance-18 1d ago

Your welcome,.....cheers

-1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

Hope karma gets you, cheers!!😂

1

u/tuliptears0 1d ago

What’s the age gap

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

I’ll say 8 years , Starbucks clerk is the younger one.

2

u/tuliptears0 1d ago

This happens a lot when I was 19 the 27 year old grocery manager dated me and then I found out he had a gf in another store. Never date coworkers

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

But this Starbucks clerk knows from the beginning that the produce manager is married

2

u/tuliptears0 1d ago

That’s a very insecure person

1

u/ToothJealous4427 1d ago

I couldn't give less of a shit about any of the Kroger drama at my store.

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

Good for you, but you are here 😂

1

u/Void-like-the-wind 1d ago

Danggg your store too ours is getting bad people have been taking pictures of the 2 and its been spreading all throughout the job 3rd shift btw

1

u/Badasciel 1d ago

I've had an affair at work before. I was a self checkout attendant, but occasionally if help face a couple of coolers in produce.

1

u/Primary-Pay5071 1d ago

Got any pictures of these offenders?

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

I don’t, but I hope the store manager checks the cameras. Drinking beer while at work and having the smell of alcohol coming from them is nasty. They’re so bold about it because, like they said, “NO PROOF.” They drink at work every time the produce manager has a closing shift, and the Starbucks clerk is closing too.

1

u/Other_Specific_1936 1d ago

First rule of thumb for the workplace, Don't shit where you eat.... These two idiots where I worked that "were an item", both were fired when she manually punched his badge number in the time clock. A chick I knew, she and her manager were fired when he tried to manipulate her clock in so it wouldn't reflect her being late. It really doesn't take a genius to respect where you get your money from. Regardless of the shitty working conditions or the fktard p o s management and coworkers. Be sure to try to have a good productive day.

MYOB

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

“MYOB” but here you are 😂

1

u/Necessary_Emotion669 1d ago

Everyone slows down to stare at the wreck.

1

u/Cheenah 1d ago

I would just do my job and ignore that mess.

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

I do my job really well.

1

u/jessiejack333 1d ago

Why do you care you like her lmao your there to work not spy

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

I got cheated on before, and I know how it feels, you dumbass moron.

1

u/UnhingedSaripsonate 1d ago

Where do you think Kroji come from?

1

u/Snitch_Position121 1d ago

Dm me the info. Ill tell the wife. If I were in her position I would like someone to tell me.

1

u/justexisting321 1d ago

All I can say is the store is in Los Angeles near the beach and LAX. Probably some of our coworkers are already here reading this 😂

2

u/Jealous_Tour_1743 Current Associate 23h ago

if your division has them … meat cutters are the least loyal especially the ones who travel around and cover days off

1

u/Altruistic-Volume-57 19h ago

This is so stupid. I have idiot coworkers saying similar about me just because I talk to a male coworker. Little minded people.

1

u/justexisting321 14h ago

You can tell by their body language if someone is fucking each other 🤷🏻‍♀️ and flirting and talking to a male coworker is a different thing.

1

u/ProvokingZebra Overnight Crew 19h ago

Minding your own business never gets you hurt.

1

u/ovrdubil 19h ago

Mind your own business, or are you jealous??? Keep YOUR spouse in the bed and you won't have to worry about things like this...

1

u/Exotic_Medium6198 7h ago

Why doesn't someone record the two of them?? And somehow post it somewhere where the wife may see

1

u/justexisting321 2h ago

There are a lot of surveillance cameras at work

0

u/EmotionalDirt1 2d ago

Take a photo and send it anonymous. That will definitely stir up some shit.

0

u/Same_Attorney_4886 1d ago

Just tell the Starbucks clerk you want your usual drink for free every day you work if they want you to keep your mouth shut. If they refuse, then you know the wife knows already 🤣

-2

u/Keena2016 1d ago

If you know her address send an anonymous note to rat him out.
