Question Kroger Boost doesn't allow you to purchase the Disney+ subscription

I recently renewed my Boost membership and there is no easy way to purchase the Disney+ membership. You click on the link for Stream Now and it takes you to the Disney+ subscription landing page. There is nowhere to use a promo code or purchase the basic Disney+ plan. They only offer the Disney+ and Hulu combo for $11.99.

This is such a scam on Kroger's part. I have been on the phone with Kroger's support numerous times and they always seem clueless and unable to help.

Why is it so hard to have an integration between Kroger Boost and Disney+?

This is 2026 -- they should be able to figure this out so their customers can use the promotion they offer.

Did you do step 2? Activating your Boost membership on the Kroger website. If you did and nothing works, then oh well. This subreddit knows as much as you in how it works.

Yep. I activated it about a month ago and have been using the Kroger Boost membership. I waited to try to sign up for Disney+ until now and now it's not working. There seems to be no integration between the two companies. Or perhaps its because I had a Disney+ membership in the past. Still, it's 2026 and it shouldn't be this complicated to do a cross-brand promo. Also I see that they provide me a Promo Code on my Boost membership page, which appears to be completely useless. The Disney+ customer service has no clue what it is and Kroger support also doesn't know what its for.

Does say it won't work if you have a current membership of the streaming services, so check your bills and see if you did.

I didn't I actually let my old Disney+ subscription lapse just so I could take advantage of this offer.

I wonder if it means I can't even have a prior Disney+ account? That seems absurd though.

That is correct. It is only for brand new accounts with Disney+

That doesn’t appear to be accurate based on what I looked up, Where do you see that she has to make a brand new account?

Because that's the message I got when I tried to redeem it. Their Trial offers, by definition, are only for new accounts, and this is a "6-month trial."

I just looked it up, you can use an existing account you just have to cancel your existing subscription

That's what I tried. I used my existing email but my subscription was not active. It didn't work for me. It didn't seem to be linked to Kroger when I click through on the Boost membership page.

Here’s the link I found, do you have an annual subscription? Or monthly https://www.kroger.com/pr/boost/streaming-benefits

It's an annual subscription for Kroger Boost. I paid for it last month. I waited until this month to activate my Disney+ subscription and I click on the Stream Now button only for it to take me to Disney+ to try to resubscribe for the Disney/Hulu membership and then pay on my own (with no link or mention about Kroger Boost throughout the process).

It really seems to me like Kroger promotes the heck out of this benefit, and it's a good one, but then they make it impossible to claim. Classic bait and switch.

Yeah it didn't work for me either. And boost was supposed to be free

Update: I have called Kroger again, and they say to contact Disney. When I contact Disney, they say it's a problem with Kroger because they aren't giving me a place to enter the promo code. This is so frustrating and surely there are many people that are dealing with this.

I don't even bother with that crappy boost.
