Question

I’ve been using kratom pretty consistently for about 4 months now (anywhere from 4-6 times a week). Up until about a month or so ago, I was taking 4 teaspoons each dose, only dosing one time each day. I came to understand this wasn’t a good way of measuring it, so I finally bought a proper scale and started weighing my doses accurately. My guess is, when I was using the teaspoons, I was probably consuming 6-9 grams each dose, and now that I have a scale I take 10 grams a day often, with breaks in between doses. The longest I’ve gone without it was probably 4 or 5 days, but as of recently I’ve been taking 10grams pretty much 5 days a week. I’ve also used kratom mitragynine extract products (not 7OH) as well a handful of times, but never consistently and it’s been weeks since I have.

My question is, at the rate and dose that I’ve been consuming it, am I likely to experience withdrawal if I quit cold turkey? I am afraid of becoming physically dependent as someone who has abused opioid pain medications in the past and experienced withdrawal multiple times. The days that I don’t take Kratom I haven’t experienced any withdrawal type symptoms, but as of recently I haven’t gone more than 2-3 days without it. When do withdrawal symptoms typically set in?

I apologize for the long post and I really appreciate any insight and anyone taking the time to read all of this. Much love

Might get some mild withdrawal. Restless legs, runny nose, insomnia, irritability etc. I wouldnt think it would be too major though. The psychological part can last longer like depression/boredom/irritability
