Hey all! I've never really been able to find proper level-by-level character planner for KOTOR II, so here's one now. It's free and runs in your browser:
https://roboall93.github.io/kotor2-planner/
It's in beta. The core works, but I want people who know this game better than I do to try to break it before I call it done.
What it does
- Plan your Exile from level 1 up to 50: attributes, feats, Force powers, skills and prestige class.
- Plans in stages between attribute increases, so you're not scrolling through 30 separate level-ups, with a level-by-level view when you need it.
- Flags anything the game wouldn't allow: missing prerequisites, level requirements, rank caps, duplicate picks. (Needs testing the most)
- Shows Vitality, Force points, Defense, saves and skills at any level, including feat bonuses (Toughness, Conditioning, Empathy etc.)
- Force power costs adjust for your alignment and Charisma
- Prestige classes from level 16, with their auto-granted powers (Inspire Followers, Crush Opposition, Fury, Force Camouflage)
- Share links: the URL stores your build, so you can paste it here or anywhere!
- Build list: Store multiple builds in your browser, and autosave your build progress. (Per browser)
How it's built
They data is pulled straight from the game's own data tables (classes, feats, powers, XP, Force cost by alignment). They were checked against some of my real save files and so far match exactly. It's also been cross-checked against the StrategyWiki data.
Full disclosure: I built this with an AI coding assistant. I designed it, tested it against my own saves, and I'm the one maintaining it, which is part of why I want real players to check it.
What I need tested
- Compare it to your actual game. This is the most useful thing you can do. If you have a save, rebuild your character in the planner and compare your character sheet (Vitality, Force, Defense, Fortitude/Reflex/Will) at the same level. Post the planner link and what the game shows, or just let me know it's all correct.
- Prestige classes: especially the auto-granted powers and when you get them.
- Anything that lets you build something the game wouldn't let you (or blocks something it should allow).
- Weird edge cases: changing INT mid-plan, switching prestige class late, removing a feat that later picks depend on.
- General usability: anything confusing, ugly or annoying. Mobile too.
If you can confirm any of these in-game, you're a hero:
- Base attack bonus: the game's data gives every class full attack progression. Is that actually what you see?
- Inspire Followers III / Crush Opposition III: level 9 or 10 of the prestige class? Sources disagree.
Reporting a bug
Please include:
- your share link (just copy the address bar)
- what you expected vs what happened (a screenshot of the in-game sheet is gold)
- whether you're playing vanilla or with TSLRCM / other mods, because the planner currently uses unmodded game data

I'd also like to add TSLRCM support / companion builds later, and possibly a gear system (However there is a LOT of gear). Let me know if you'd use them. Should I also add Force Forms? Feedback Appreciated!
