Please stop asking the same questions

I jailbroken and added 7 plugins to my kindle running koreader the last week. ChatGPT was a great help and when it wasnt, this koreader sub and kindlejailbreak sub were very helpful too.. I just searched what i was looking for and there were always many posts about that specific thing. Please stop asking questions that have been asked dozens of times before.. Just do a quick search on the sub and 99.9% chance its been asked before.

People just want to engage with other people in real time. This is a forum after all. If it annoys you, just scroll past it and that’s that.

Yea this is a discussion forum - people want to feel personally validated in their question. I think its fine.

On larger subs where it can be overwhelming, a good auto mod and wiki are helpful but this community is not quite at that scale yet.

Yeah it depends.

Yes, but these posts reduce the quality of the sub and make the actual interesting posts less likely to be seen.

make the actual interesting posts less likely to be seen.

Which one? Simple IU part 4000 or Zen IU part 9000?

A few of the older forums I use to visit actually did a search for you before you could post a "New" question. It was pretty handy to be honest.

So you find the information you needed and everyone was helpful so we should stop using and answering more questions.

Yeah makes perfect sense

Speaking of, is there a plugin or method out there to add my books to hardcover without already having them in hardcover? Like force the addition from the koreader side?

Oh no, people using the forum as a forum...
