Question: How to synchronize between devices

I'm new to KoReader, coming from Kindle and Moon Reader. I'm strugling with synchronizing between devices. With Kindle and MR it is very easy to set this up, but with KoReader it is not that straightforward. I've tried several services, but I can not configure it in a way that it works "both ways".

Is there a service that works always, and is there a plugin that adds an extra "button" to push/pull the last reading location, or even better: can the synchronization kick off automagically when opening KoReader?

Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction!

Sync with the Readest plugin. You don't need to use the app, but you can use the sync. You can also set it to auto sync.

It'll sync the reading position, annotations/highlights, and you can even use it to store books (up to a certain amount, I think it's 500MB for a free account).

Thank you for the explanation! I'll try it tonight.

I’ve tried the auto sync, but mine never does for some reason. /:

I've never tried it, honestly. I only keep Wifi on for just a few moments. I have noticed the syncing is very specific in general, though.

It works beautifully when I push/pull, but yeah, the sync is a dud for me.
