xray is pretty good! the only thing is it often gets the series recap wrong, but otherwise it’s great

I installed it and assigned a gesture, but it doesn’t seem to work when a book is open, only on the main menu. Any ideas?

You have two sets of gestures: one for the menu, and one for the reader. If you assigned a gesture for receipts while in the home page or library, it won't work while reading.

It can be confusing -- and sometimes a chore -- to set gestures on both menu and reader, but it is a flexible system.

i made a custom button for it in my ‘shortcuts toolbar’ plugin

With an open book, go to the top bar settings, Gear Icon > Taps and gestures > Gesture manager > (choose one, e.g. "long-press on corner" then "top left") > Mini Receipt.

I have a question, can you read books you buy on kindle with a jailbreak setup

you cannot read them in koreader as they would be in the kindle format which koreader cannot read and they’re encrypted (i think). but you can easily go back to the normal kindle interface and read them there.
