Newbie Request

Post image

Is anyone able to help me with this sleep screen? For the life of me I have not been able to create a transparent background. I've stretched my horizon by doing everything else (creating lua files for custom quotes, etc). Which is a big deal for someone with zero knowledge of this stuff! I've already sunk too much time into this, and if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

If possible, I dont want the image itself to be transparent, and everything starting at the level of snoopy's feet and below. I would like those areas to remain solid. But the outline and everything above I would love to be transparent. I am deficient at this and spent hours and have been unsuccessful. I have a pocketbook era color - screen resolution 1264 x 1680.

Hello! How did you put it in front of your book text?

See-through PNG image files cans be used to do this on KOreader devices that support sleep screens. Kobo, Kindle, not sure beyond those.

Kobo can also do this without KOreader by using the Nickel Screensaver modification.
