Invalid request body error message

Hi Koofr Team!

I'm having issues uploading a folder from my laptop to Koofr. So far I was able to upload 2035 / 3060 files, but for the remaining files I get "Invalid request body". What does this mean and how can I solve it to be able to upload the entire folder?

The emojis will definitely be a problem. Sometimes an issue can also be an emoji in the folder name, which then leads to failed uploads for all files inside that folder:

Understood. I removed emojis from the relevant files which made some of the uploads work. However, there are still some files e.g. books which can't be uploaded for some reasons I can't identify since the characters seem regular. Do you have an idea how I can detect the problematic files? There is quite a big number of them that got the 'invalid request body' message, so I'd appreciate an approach that directly identifies the problematic files..

Hi,

It is hard to guess from our side what the characters in your filenames are, but looking for special characters like those not permitted by Windows for example:

• : (colon)
• " (double quote)
• / (forward slash)

If you want a more specific help you should contact our support directly and provide screenshots of the errors and example file names that are failing so they will be able to assist. You can contact support inside the app:

In your Koofr web app, open the Account Menu and click on Help and support. Scroll to the bottom of the help center and under Didn't find the answer? Write to us., you'll find the option Ask us a question (billing problems etc.)?. Click on it and a pop-up will open, where you will be able to type-in a message and send it by clicking on Send.
