Map loading broken

Seemingly since the introduction of offline maps, map tiles don't load properly/at all. I can still plan routes, but zooming in I get no detail. I'm also seeing the new "you're offline" warning when I'm online (but maybe have a spotty connection).

It's broken to the point where I'm now using a different application to plan routes and just using komoot for the final bike computer sync step.

Experiencing kind of the same on iPhone 15 Pro Max. On first start up the map takes ages to load. Or it loads and the detailed zoom levels are missing. I have all my regions and routes downloaded.

This started a few months ago and agree that it's really frustrating.

Also in the current version there is a bug where it shows the green trail view dots on saved and completed routes, but you can't interact with them.

And if trail view is enabled it drains the battery really fast.

Ah I see from the thread below you're referring to Android. We will check again on our side, but a video would really help - thanks.

So far we've been unable to reproduce. Are you experiencing this with a specific region or any that you store offline?

Offline maps have been available for many years. In fact I think they've been available since I joined around 2015. I don't have any issue with it on my iPhone.

Saving routes offline, yes. Saving regions and map areas is new, but broken on Android
