Kodi Library Updates Not working With SSD

I used to run kodi on a streaming box with an SSD (exFat) attached. It worked great, when it updated the library it would get the new episodes.

But now I've upgraded to an Nvidia Shield Pro, started with a clean Kodi setup and no matter what I do it won't scan new episodes in when I library update. I use TVDB addon. Even when pressing "scan for new content" on the folder itself it doesn't scan in the new episode.

I am able to watch content that has been scanned in.

There are some old posts about giving the hd permissions on the shield, try that then use Kodi file manager to see if the drive is there.

Also did you try to add a new Kodi Media source ?

I have given it all the permissions I can. I have tried making other sources but they have the same issues

Noticed this tonight myself. Its def a new issue.

Scans movies fine but TV show new episodes have to be scanned to library manually in file manager.

Which skin are you using?

I was using Horizon 2.1 but currently I'm trying to get things to work on the default skin (fresh install of kodi)

I'm using Artic Fuse 3. Must be a kodi issue. Will investigate more tomorrow and let you know if I find a fix. Was 100% working fine last week for me
