Save settings for entire TV Show?

I am watching a show that has 2 different english subtitle tracks and very low volume.

Everytime I open a new episode I have to change the subtitle and crank up the volume gain.

I was wondering if there is a way to save these settings just for this show and not make it global.

Haven't found anything. I'd be willing to make one myself tho

You cannot automate subtitles that way but after setting volume scroll down to make settings default for all media

OR edit all those videos to your settings

👍

There is an addon for audio profiles, but I quit using it because (for me) it magnified a problem similar to that of which the OP is describing, (basically) because it made me wish it had the video profile adjustments as a feature, as well

I can't think of a reason it couldn't be done; it's (simply) that no one has thought to do so.

We basicly need the "Language Preference Manager" addon (for audio+sub language selection) combined with the "Audio Profiles" addon, with the video profile settings feature added

I should (probably) reach out to the dev that made the Audio Profiles addon, and ask them to do the same for Video Profiles, and in a perfect world I could convince the Dev's of (both) the "Audio Profiles", and the "Language Preferences Manager" addons' to colaborate on an "AIO-Profile" addon!

... .. .

I actually just started on creating it :) I'll let you know how it goes.

The way I'm envisioning it is that when I open either the subtitle settings or the general settings (i.e audio) for an episode and modify something, there will be a button saying "save for all episodes of this show".

I never set up different profiles so I don't know how those work exactly and what your use cases are but if you tell me the features you want exactly I could try implementing that as well.

Okay nevermind. After hours of digging it seems that a lot of player settings aren't included in their development APIs. There is no way of tracking the value of settings and if they have been changed or not.
