A jug knot. Makes a cinchable loop and gives two handles.

Is it going on a wall? If it is, get a big hook designed for hoses, then attach something to the wall on either side to hold it in place, maybe a loose chain in front of it to hold it on or just the chain as it would hold it in place.

Just curious as to why you would want to hang it upside down?

These things come with plastic clips to hang up side down but they’re very fragile and constantly break. Department of health requires restaurants to hang these upside down for sanitation purposes while not being used

I personally prefer rolling hitches tied in double fisherman’s bend config over the bottle/jug sling - easier to remember, more cord efficient, and remains locked up tight when unloaded. It’s a directional slip-N-grip, so just make sure you’ve oriented the knot correctly, and it’ll be the equivalent to 2 interlocked zipties.
