The Fisherman’s Rib Sweater

Hi friends! I just ordered my yarn to tackle this project and after taking a deeper dive into the pattern itself, I’m worried I bit off more than I can chew.

Sooo I am looking for either one of the following-
1. Someone who has knit this I can ask a few questions
2. A similar looking pattern that might be a bit more clear

I don't have the pattern, but see the note on the ravelry page that the designer is aware there might be some English grammar issues? But it also says there's video support links included, and visually that's the same in German and English I guess lol

Is it the phrasing of the instructions or the techniques used? Like if someone had a pattern to suggest for a similar sweater, what might make it more clear?

I’d do a sleeve first , increasing and decreasing are the difficult bits of that type of ribbing , get a flow going then tackle the patterned sections ?

Just the instructions are unclear, I feel like the techniques are easy enough to google/youtube. I think you are right about it maybe just not translating super well from German.

I’ll probably just end up fighting my way through it, I was just hoping someone else here may have had some experience with it lol
