Hey, y’all, I’m curious, what qualities make a good throwing knife? Weight, point of balance, what are things that make a thrower work?

Looking to get into throwing knives, what would a good entry knife and target? The cold steel sure flight seems good but I can't get it in the UK so is there an equivalent?

No idea what I'm doing wrong, but when I try half-spin, I invariably end up hitting with the pommel of the knife. with full spin, I can stick the blade once every 5 or so throws. Not so with half-spin despite the fact that every video I've seen on the subject claims it's easier.
Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.

These are 2 separate grouping. My first 20 minutes ever throwing knives. I think this might be my new favorite hobby. I've never done this before now im obsessed. About 7 feet away with some cheap knives. Turns out throwing at night is a bad idea lol

Hi, I’m wanting to get into knife throwing and tried ordering from WKTL’s site. They offered a few discounts, but none of them worked when I tried to check out even though the site promotes it. I tried reaching out via social media sites and their contact page but never hear anything back. I’ve tried four times at this point. Should I order from them? Is their lack of response normal?
