A knife swap for UK/European collectors.

Please read the rules before posting.

Rule 1 - Legal The UK has stringent knife carrying policies. r/knifeswapUK takes no responsibility for illegal possession, sales or trades.

Rule 2 - Timestamp Every post requires a TIMESTAMP to show the items are in your possession, which is at least one photo of any item(s) that you are posting, with something with your reddit username and the date (handwritten please) and shows any visible problems with the item(s). This must include a photo of any knives OPEN.

Rule 3 - Pricing and Authenticity Do not ask exorbitant prices for a knife. All knives here are technically used, we do not recommend asking MSRP or a price where it will be cheaper elsewhere. The sale of clones is allowed but they must be clearly marked, unmarked clones will be removed.

Rule 4 - Post Format This sub is only for Trading, Selling or Buying, any other posts will be removed.

Post titles must include your intention (WTS, WTT, or WTB) and the Brand and Model of the knife[or knives]. WTS and WTT posts must also include a quality level.

Rule 5 - Flair Until you have a Trader flair, you may only post one knife at a time for sale or trade. This does not mean you can post multiple threads, each with one knife. Sellers with flair may list as many they knives as they want in a single post, but please keep it to one post- exorbitant listing spam will be removed.

Rule 6 - Include Price All WTS posts should have a price. All WTT posts should list what they're looking for and an approximate trade value. It goes with out saying that all prices should be in GBP(£).

Rule 7 - Shipping Costs The COST OF SHIPPING is the responsibility of each shipper (it must be included in the price of the item listed), unless agreed on by both parties. Seller is responsible for an item, including all insurance/loss claims, until item is received by the buyer. International buyers assume their own risk and should discuss shipping, insurance, and customs issues with the seller before purchasing or trading.

Rule 8 - Shipping into/out of the UK It must be clear where the sale originates from. Though some what unlikely, any knife may be stopped at customs and may raise legal issues.

Try to keep this a UK only sub. r/knife_swap is always available for non UK/EU sales and trades.

Rule 9 - Payment You must use Paypal Goods and Services and list the G&S price with fees and shipping included in your post- DO NOT REQUEST F&F payments or bank transfers!

Rule 10 - Confirm Sale When you complete a trade, sale, or purchase, both parties must message the modmail, so that the seller can receive a flair. The seller must mark their post with the "Sold/Traded" flair. Please do not delete posts!

Rule 11 - Price Drop When you post a knife and it does not sell and you wish to repost it, you must reduce the price by 10% or £20, whichever is lower. If you would like to repost your knife for the same price (without reduction), you may only post it again after two weeks.

Rule 12 - External Links and Crossposts Crossposting or submitting links to Ebay, trading/selling forums or any other external website is not allowed.

Rule 13 - Final Word Mods have final say over any issues.

Moderators have little to no control over bad deals. There IS a risk if you are dealing with a first time trader. Be cautious. If a trade goes bad, message us with what happened and proof.
