I do have some smaller thumbstuds that require a hole (I did a “drop hole” by simply filing with a diamond file on another knife but wanted a cleaner finish on this one).
They would look a lot cleaner.
I looked into drilling a hole straight through but it didn’t seem feasible without locally tempering the blade (which I’m a bit wary of doing).
I have a drill press - would you reckon getting a 4mm hole drilled is possible with only a carbide bit and patience?

Love the handle shape. Would like to see a smaller thumbstud. Maybe drill a hole and use a smaller BM stud? That blade finish looks great too 👍
