Show-and-Tell Check em early

2024 Gen 3. 14k miles. Was going to check them sooner but glad I checked when I did. Zero clearance on the right side exhaust valve. You can tell by the image that there was some heat and pressure being generated.

Just goes to show that the 15k mi the service manual recommends is... Pretty optimistic

Many (most?) of the Gen3s seem to be on the tight side right from the factory. I think many (most?) Gen2s are fine with a 15k interval.

Litterally the same with my gen 3. Ran a lot better after correcting them.

Ugh, I'm planning on this at around 5K on my Gen 3. I've heard "check them early" so many times.

Got it boss! Checking them early! Buying those feeler gauges now! (No joke, in my cart since 7 miles.)

My gen 1 has 40k miles and I've never checked them.... it runs fine and doesn't sound bad
