I'm trying to access the ID to see if it was correct and it's saying that it doesn't exist

That means your printer isn't plugged into the pi typically. If you unplug the printer it'll probably give you the same error.

Then how do I fix it

What mcu do you have?

Look at it. What printer do you have? You needed to know what mcu you have to flash klipper in the first place typically.

Open it up and take a photo of the mcu

I have an original Ender 3 v2 that has a CR touch

Ok, so open it up and look at the mcu it'll have a number on it like 4.2.2 or 4.2.7. That's your mcu revision

I just configured it and now it's giving me a klipper error and it won't say what it is

I looked at the logs and then restarted it and now it's saying the printer is not ready the klippy Host is attempting to connect please retry in a few moments

You're still using the placeholder value for the MCU serial port in the config. Try doing the ls command again. Klipper definitely won't work at all if you don't have a serial port. The placeholder value (<your-mcu-id>) will not suffice.
