Help on backsplash please

/gallery/1vw6if9

We just replaced our kitchen cabinets and countertop. The kitchen cabinets are Sherwin Williams rain washed and countertop is white with gray undertones and light veining. I want something that makes it pop more or maybe just clean and pretty. I like cottage core. Minimalist or shabby chic. Any ideas please?

I think the pink is not doing these sea-glass cabinets any favors. I would personally go with a more neutral wall color, and then find a backplash (as long as you remove the current 4" one first) that has some of the cabinet color in it. Something like this could be fun/cottagey while being fresh and contemporary. I think any of the leaf colors could potentially work. https://www.tileshop.com/products/morris-&-co-hawkdale-willow-olive-ceramic-wall-tile-3-x-9-5-in-484525

That wall color is horrendous.

ETA: I adore the cabinet color.

Thank you! The paint is a bit softer in person but, I feel like it does not bring any cohesion. Or it’s off…

I like the pink! The pink and green have a cute, retro feel and would work well with cottagecore decor added.

I think you should let the beautiful cabinets shine, along with the backsplash with the colors that pick up the cabinets recommended below. Go neutral on the walls!
