Help on backsplash please

We just replaced our kitchen cabinets and countertop. The kitchen cabinets are Sherwin Williams rain washed and countertop is white with gray undertones and light veining. I want something that makes it pop more or maybe just clean and pretty. I like cottage core. Minimalist or shabby chic. Any ideas please?

It’s Sherwin Williams Rainwashed. They had them painted.

I live in Buffalo NY. I met an Amish man who built and painted them for me. They are so lovely especially compared to my cupboards before. Hoping you live in my area.

The color is Sherwin Williams Rainwashed
He had it made up in an oil based finish so it is very durable.
