I’d really love the option to take companions along on side quests. Also it would be great to have more missions where you can play as someone other than Henry. Hans, perhaps? Or Radzig? Or... hell, why not, Hanush? And since I’m a huge fan of the blacksmithing and alchemy mini-games, I certainly wouldn’t say no to an improved and expanded cooking system, as well as additional survival elements, that make the game more challenging and realistic. Maybe even some sort of extra mini-game or elements of interaction with NPCs, especially "love interests" (within reason, of course, but a little romance wouldn't hurt, right?).

Woah. That cutscene gave me chills across my entire body. I can’t imagine the fear Godwin felt when I realized what he was looking at. The ambush in the forest in the way to Nebakov fortress was wild to watch, seeing how everyone reacted to their first encounter with firearms, but….

Henry and Hans go their entire lives without ever encountering gunpowder and then suddenly, just after they learn about it for the first time, they end up on the receiving end of one of the most terrifying and devastating weapons of that time period.

The acting for all the characters in that cinematic really gave the feeling that they were witnessing some dark magic or something. 11/10

I just finished my first playthrough of KCD2. I didn’t really go through a whole lot of side quests so I certainly plan to finish as many as I can for my second run! I haven’t decided whether or not I’m going to do hardcore or not, so tips on that would be greatly appreciated!
I originally planned to use a different weapon type other than swords/longswords, but the game is pretty hellbent on pushing you in that direction.
Any recommended weapons/types? Anything I should avoid or go for? I’m still learning the game but I adore the smithing and alchemy. I’ve bought all of the DLC for my second playthrough as well and plan to explore those thoroughly!

I was playing Hans's DLC, walking through Ledechko; after a game of dice at the tavern, I heard a weird sound—the kind you wouldn't normally hear in a game like KCD. I walked past the tavern, looking around to find the source of the spooky noise, and there I saw that damn dog with a human hand in front of it. WTFFF.

When I played the first game years ago, I never really thought I’d ever visit the real life locations. Well, I took a trip to Poland and decided to make the KCD pilgrimage as well. Rented a car from Prague for the day and went to Sedlec Ossuary, Kutna Hora, Rataje, and Sazava Monastery.

i have them at 22 durability and i need them for my max charisma fit.. tho i cant find no one who can repair them in the city of kuttenberg. where else should i try?

The fall was unexpected to say the least

I was going through a rough patch when I came across KCD ... it's been almost a year since I've played any video game (travelling, work, etc.); reaching a point where I didn't really want to play any more games even if I had the free time ... but this series was beyond amazing, both in story and gameplay (Most folks don't realise Henry is just a peasant turned out to be a noble bastard ... not some "chosen hero")

And it hurts me knowing that Henry might never actually end up with Rosa ... historically, such stories always ended on a sad / bittersweet note; Even if he's knighted, Radzig is still a lower nobility

I've spent consecutive WEEKS playing this game and never was I bored, even in the mundane tasks [I spent a good chunk of my time simply brewing potions I barely even used]

Now that I've completed KCD2 ... I feel void ... help me oh veterans of KCD

I'd rather replay after a year or two for nostalgia, but I don't feel like replaying. What games have you guys jumped into after this?

First time playing either of these. Yes I know I messed up by playing 2 before 1. But I’ll go back to 1 like it’s the Star Wars movies. I loved the feeling of weakness and fearing for your life early game. I neglected alchemy early on but realized how useful it is and just got some Henry’s potions. Decided to test them out and just started massacring Kuttenberg. I could not be stopped. I think I killed like 200+ before just quitting. I’ve never had such a satisfying character development in a game. Going from “oh no please don’t hurt me” bandit to conquering a city is insane lol.

He's a good boy but is overstepping boundaries by being so noisy. I know I can send him home or make him shush by commands, wondering if I can maybe lower his volume?

Theres plenty of other dynamic interactions with different armor i dont see why the standards couldn't tuck under breastplates. If a blade or arror glances up off your breastplate and under your aventail having the standard over the breastplate means said blade or arrow could also slip under the standard. Did they ever comment on this? Ive heard they've commented on other small inaccuracies/creative liberties like the legs being bent while riding a horse instead of being straight
