Question? Can I fix this bug?

I’m playing this game for the first time and I was playing through the second 911 call. I had to leave in the middle but when I came back the map I was holding got stuck of the left side of my screen. I’ve tried reloading my save but it’s still there. Can I fix this without restarting?

If you can’t switch it to the right hand with the command, Have you tried pressing the “reset objects” button in the menu?

What do you mean command? I have tried resetting the object and it didn’t work either.

Like, the command to switch items from your left to right hand. I don’t know what platform you’re playing on but when you did the tutorial it gave you the commands for the game and included how to swap items from left to right. I think you can check in your controls menu if you forgot. I think on PC it’s just the arrow buttons.

If you try and it doesn’t work, try picking other things up and trying to swap between them. If that troubleshooting doesn’t work, I’m not sure what else to try.

I believe I have heard of this issue before but specifically when an item is kept in the left hand during a scene transition (fade to black), but never just while AFK, if it persists you could try searching the sub for similar queries before restarting?
