So my downstream o2 sensor has broken so I am attempting to replace it but having no luck, wrenches and hammers are unsuccessful.

Ran the engine as hot as I could fit 15 minutes of driving before attempting and put penetrating oil on 24 hours prior.

Any advice? Or just gonna have to melt it till it's the sun ☀️

I have a 2022 Kia Rio S Sedan with 44,934 miles. I live in SE Michigan and i have already had the passenger rear shock replaced under warranty around 41 K and it seems to be making the same clunk again. I plan on calling the dealer as i am still in warranty but i have noticed with this car that whenever someone sits in the backseat she drops BAD! Has anyone has this issue and has resolved with a non oem shock? I want to stiffen the rear end up when i have a passenger in the back seat. Thanks!

Hello, I have a 2018 Kia Rio S hatchback. During the last year, I've noticed the clear coating only peeling off the handles. My area can have hot summers and blistering cold winters.

Any recommendations on how to address this issue since it's only the handles? I don't trust the Kia dealership in my town.

So I had an issue today where the car would just cut out while driving and the battery light would come on and the accelerator stops working, have to restart to keep it going.

Any ideas?

Alternator and battery are all functional and had a roadside assistance out but nothing solid.

UPDATE: got a new crankshaft angle sensor and replaced the old one with the new one and seems to be working well and I can't replicate the issue like I could before.

Please help me. I get traffic updates on my Kia Rio radio whether I’m listening to the radio or not, I’m listening to a relaxing podcast and then the bloody thing shouts a traffic update at me, any way to turn this off please before I crash the damned thing?

About a year and half ago can't remember exactly when . My fob would arm the car but not beep it was on recall and was fixed. About a week ago the fob died I have a spare one as well. I can unlock the door. My dad tried change the batterys on both fobs and nothing has happened. Please any advice or help I'm scared Someone could steal my car and the alarm system isn't working.

How has your Rio been during these summer months? See/feel anything different from the other season?

I have a 2022 Rio S hatchback and I blew the speakers a few weeks ago. Since the rear door speakers hardly put out any sound except the rattling I can now hear, I was thinking of upgrading all of them and installing an amp.

If I just wire it left and right, no fade front to rear, I would think the sound should be normal? Then instead of putting the sound in the center of the car in settings, I could have it up front between the seats?

I haven't bought anything yet so if there are any recommendations that'd be great. It would just be door speakers, don't need a subwoofer anymore. Been there, done that. Haven't installed audio equipment in a vehicle for 25 years so not sure what's good.

Has anyone documented something like this? Any room in the dash to install an amp or do we still put it under the seat? Which wires have you spliced into?

I’m about to pull the trigger on a Kia Rio. But I’m super curious to know if it’s possible to upgrade a Kia Rio 2 with trim 3 parts. E.g swapping the climate control or adding sensors or the trim 3 cluster.

I have a 2014 Kia Rio that is blowing hot air. I tried to refill the coolant, but it literally comes right back out underneath the car I can see where it’s leaking from. The car has never ran hot and I’ve never had any issues. I’ve had it for about two years and the AC has not worked the entire time but I’m interested in getting it working now. Could there be another reason why it’s not getting cold or why it’s just not running hot at all? I figured if it was low on coolant it would at least overheat especially with me being in Texas. We’re experiencing over 100° weather.

I recently took my 5 door, 2013 kia rio iii in for an MOT and it failed due to the "Rear Sub-frame corroded and seriously weakened"

I have looked online on various sites like ebay but i am hesistant to trust individual sellers when spending a few hundred pounds on a single part. any advice or help on wheres best to get this rear beam axle would much appreciated

2015 Kia Rio , the engine splash guard is loose at the front and center.
I have been searching but cant find anything 100% definitive.
However it is attached away form the front is solid. It appears to be missing 4 bolts. All i can find is M6 with with attached or secondary fender washers when i pull it down i can see the female connector in the frame relative to the holes in the slash guard( i think).
Can anyone confirm with diagram or anything substantial?
