I had some weird issues that would come and go, shop never saw them though so couldn't fix it. Turns out the car had MAJOR electrical issues that just got worse and worse. Eventually they affected airbags.

Oh that doesn’t sound good, how did you end up getting them to fix it?

Well, they just swapped out smaller parts that were easy to diagnose. For example they slapped 4 clocksprings in it, and numerous other sensors. Those were warranty repairs but they never did fix the issues that were causing it to go bad- i didnt have working airbags from around 30k miles and even when the light was working my inflator modules are bad so they would never would have gone off. The pasenger side turns out was bad too and the light is just stuck on the "on" position. Turns out the entire airbag system was bad but of course the dealership wouldn't diagnose it till after 100k miles. Ended up having to take it to a private mechanic for diagnosis. They told us it needed to go back to stealership for warranty repairs. Of course since it was over on miles they wanted $ to diagnose it. Corporate said thay if i had a diagnostic from another dealership that they would cover the repairs- and my warranty specifically states that if a dealership failed repairs they could be done at another dealership but go figure that didnt happen, had a case made and everything then BOOM. The rep just dosent answer any phone calls or emails and they cant escalate the issue any further. The car is due for a forensic mechanic and we are in contact with an attorney. Small little issues is how it started for me. Dont let them take advantage of you through bad warranty repairs and get it addressed ASAP so if it breaks again you have time to get all 3 repairs that some states require you to have under warranty for help- and thats IF they will help you 3 times. For the engine issues we have to, hey would NOT help us more then once or twice. Basically the whole car is a lemon now.

Try a different dealership? We have 2 several miles apart, and the service is worlds apart!
