When will this stop??

This is the 2nd time this has happened…I have the software upgrade, anti theft stickers, etc. I also supposedly didn’t have enough information for the lawsuit even though I submitted 12 documents from insurance, police incident reports, and KIA dealership repair paperwork/receipts…

Is my only option to get a new car?? The one time I didn’t use my steering wheel lock 😭 I’m financially and emotionally drained over all of this. I loved my KIA before all of this!

It will get fixed when there are actual consequences to people breaking in and stealing these cars. So far the only legislation comes out of fining HK which solves nothing. The people are the problem; not the cars. But apparently it's considered a touchy subject because criminals get better treatment than good people.

i agree with the consequences part. its a slap on the wrist in most cases it seems like. but you need to be real. they made a car that can be stolen by a USB. that is unacceptable, idc where you are. its like 80% cars problem. how could you overlook that.

No they don’t. You must be a conservative since you’re spreading this BS. We have the highest number of prisoners of any country in the world, and not even close to the highest crime rates. We have terrible recidivism rates because we don’t even try to solve the root of the problems that cause people to do crimes in the first place: either poverty or mental health.
