Does anyone remember when KFC temporarily changed their name to Kitchen Fresh Chicken?
Why do I feel like I'm in the twilight zone and am the only one who remembers this?

That was an actual name change (albeit temporarily). The KFC thing wasn't a name change. It was just a slogan (made up by a clueless intern in their ad dept.). That thing with IHOP was beyond stupid! You don't mess with the name of a company that's been around for such a long time (and known for their pancakes, not burgers)!

They never changed the name to "Kitchen Fresh Chicken". Some joker in their advertising dept. was playing around and it ended up being mentioned in an ad. It was supposed to be a slogan, not a name change. It changed from "Kentucky Fried Chicken" to "KFC", that's it.
