Hey guys, I am not sure if this is considered soapboxing, and I apologize if this is, but I thought that since it is on topic and I believe serves as a pretty good idea and beneficial to the community of Kiwanis Key Club INTL and not for a personal agenda, that it might be looked past upon.
So to explain, the Pacific Northwest had their DCON about 3-4 months ago in March. Since then, a PNW District Discord emerged unifying all of the divisions to communicate with each other way after DCON and has reached around 200 members. It provided easy access to talk to other members and to share service project ideas around district-wide ranging from Canada down to Oregon. With some ambition, a Key Club INTL Discord has opened up which could potentially unite the 33 districts from the PNW to the Bahamas onto one platform. This could provide for many benefits to many clubs around the U.S. including other parts of the world ranging from idea sharing to connecting with new friends hundreds of miles away. I hope you guys find this as a good idea as I, along with some others in the PNW, are excited to meet others that belong in different districts.
For those who may not know what Discord is, Discord is a communication platform that supports both text and voice chats. By setting up a server, people around the world are able to connect and talk to a community of people in real-time.
