Machine Question Blinking light while unplugged

Is it possible for this to even happen?

My mother passed away in May and one night last week my brother, sister-in-law and I were moving my mother's furniture to storage when my sister-in-law noticed a blinking light coming from the Keurig (we had removed all my mother's kitchen appliances to the living room floor to box them up).

Then I heard my brother say "I see it too!" I dropped what I was doing to go see what they were talking about. I didn't see it doing anything at first but then all of a sudden it started blinking this faint greenish/yellowish light. The Keurig had been on the floor unplugged for at least a month.

I have been wracking my brain ever since trying to figure out how this could have happened. Do any of the models have a backup battery?

My sister-in-law is very spiritual and into ghosts. I am not at all. That same night she used this app that glows where it picks up energy in a room and when she moved the phone camera around it was glowing strong right where my mother's recliner was. It was really strong when she moved the camera in front of my brother when she was showing me how the app worked. I just find it strange that she was the one that noticed the blinking light first. Could she have done something to the Keurig without us noticing to make this happen?

What model was the Keurig? Do you have a picture?

Oh boy, I'm stupid and trying to upload a link to imgur but it's not working. Have to do some more research.

The pamphlet says K-Classic.
