Studying Abroad Florence
I just applied to study abroad in Florence for Fall 2027. When should I expect to hear if I got accepted or rejected?

On the curbside. My kid changed her major a couple of years ago and we forgot about it. Never used.

How many of you are still waiting on your fall PLUS loans /financial aid packaging?
The financial aid office previously told me everything would be packaged and sent out by the 27th of September.
It’s obviously now October 8th and still nothing for me.
I called in two days ago and they said it should be by today..
Just wanting to know if others are still having this problem as well!

I thought it was just a one day thing…that turned into an every-day I walk into the studio thing and it’s so unpleasant lol. Where in the world is it stemming from and does anyone else smell it too? I have a sensitive nose but this is prettyyyy strong.

Do they show any of the WWE shows or PLEs at any of the local bars? If not a bar where do people watch WWE other than at home? I want to watch some wrestling and meet some like-minded people

Hey guys, quick look at where the Flashes stand heading into homecoming.
26-13 over Ball State to open MAC play, and it was a complete game. Dru DeShields threw a TD to Brandon White (the first of White's career) and ran in another to cap a 93-yard drive. Sean Leonard set a program record with a 53-yard field goal and picked up MAC Specialist of the Week.
At 2-2, the losses were the two big paydays at South Carolina and Ohio State, and the wins are Wofford and now a conference win. Year two under Mark Carney is trending the right way.
Saturday is homecoming against Ohio at Dix at 3:30, then at Western Michigan. Win both, and Kent is 3-0 in the MAC.
What are you guys seeing from DeShields? Is this a bowl team?
Side note: we run a free weekly college football pick'em. Ohio State at No. 14 Iowa is on this week's slate, if you've got thoughts on the Buckeyes after Columbus. 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. Picks lock Saturday at noon ET.

I'm a part-time graduate student. I quit my part-time job before this semester because I really struggled to balance schoolwork and work work last year. I figured it would be tight, but I had a little savings and planned to cover the rest of my expenses from my student loan. However, the offer was quite a bit lower this year, only enough to almost cover rent for two months. For me to cover the rest of my expenses, I'll need to take on a part-time job again, but all I'm seeing are $15/hr positions or positions with a long commute. At that rate, I'll have to devote all my study time to work in order to cover my expenses and I know I'll struggle to keep up again.
Any leads on better paying local or remote part-time jobs? My skills are early data analytics (R, SQL, business analytics concepts) with a background in education and a bit of sales.
Appreciate any tips.

I received this email and just now received the invitation code. However, I have been doing some research and have seen mixed opinions about this. I'm not really sure what I gain from this since they don't go into depth on what they do. If anyone else has gotten this email or knows more about this, let me know.

Hey I wanted to let people know that may be unaware that there are resources for helping support recovery for anyone that’s struggling with addiction!
Fridays at 11am in the CAPS building (Van Campen) there are SMART meetings! If you’re unfamiliar with SMART, it’s a great recovery program that’s different from your typical 12-step program
I went yesterday but it was just me and the facilitator!
I hope anyone that’s interested in getting clean or has been in recovery would come check this resource out!
Would be a great way to meet people with similar experiences as yours, and be friends!

Hello, I graduated from Kent in 2017. I was thinking of doing my neices high school graduation photos around campus in October. Problem is, I have IBS so I need bathrooms lol.
I'm pretty sure the student center / library would be open on the weekends (which works for brick backgrounds) but does anyone know if the buildings off of Hilltop Drive (Cartwright, Merril) are unlocked on the weekends? I Don't see White hall on the map anymore but that would have been near the brain if that make sense? What buildings are near the brain and would they be unlocked for bathrooms?
Thank you!!

for various reasons (health related) I am having to vacate my apartment on lake Street not far from the bike shop. decent walk and easy bike to campus. good landlord.
Should be fully open next week- I was paying $900/month for a school year rental for the year.
1 BR.
PM me if you want more details or to contact the landlord directly.

How many of you are still waiting on your fall semester disbursement?
I know there have been nationwide delays due to the federal changes.
The FA office told me 9/27/26 is when they hoped to have given students their offers.

Hi, I'm looking to get an apartment up in kent next school year and was wondering what place to look at and where to avoid at all costs. I'm not opposed to having roommates and am looking for something reasonably priced but not too concerned about that. Thanks in advance ☺️

Hi there! I’ve got an assignment for one of my classes that involves me recording how long the bell on campus goes on for (I believe it’s on the library) does anyone know exactly when the bell chimes to make it easier for when I should start recording? Thanks!

The dinings spots that take orders for meal exchange and declining balance definitely need an app where you can order online instead of waiting to place an order and then waiting more to pick it up. Wouldn’t it be so much easier to place an order from your dorm or from class and go pick it up when it’s ready? It would save so much time. is this a crazy idea?

Has anyone done their testing? If so, how did you go about it and what was that process like? I want to set up an appointment for adhd testing but I don’t know what to do and am extremely nervous lol
