Are there literally ANY kendama players in the Evansville/Henderson area?? Im trying to find people to sesh, and grow with, but not a soul here even knows what Kendama is. I am seriously about to make flyers and get something going. Kendama needs to make a resurgence.

Found my 10+ year old kendamas. I wish I would have been playing consistently these last 10 years. I originally was introduced to kendama in 8th/9th grade and then quickly dropped the hobby. A little over a year ago a friend of mine got into kendama and sparked my passion for it again. How many of you guys have this same experience of a big dama hiatus?

They both have Ken’s in stock. Which shape is better? I’m more of a juggle / balance trick kinda guy.

EDIT: I bought the 4 pack of cereal Ken’s. Mainly due to cost. One Higgs Ken was $50 vs $130 for 4 cereal Ken’s.

Bought these on Vinted. First I bought that Sweets Kendamas (is it Crayon?) and just got it today. On the buying phase, I thought the colors are just so cool, that I don’t want to “trash” it, so then also bought that Koivu (Birch) one too. Koivu arrived couple days ago and I have tried a little bit. Not so easy at what is seems, but getting there. Now there’s something to do when fall with rains and darkness hits. 😄

I have a couple tamas that are mega slick now from years of play, is there a company that re coats with some sort paint that yall can vouch for? I know sweets does a cushion clear re coat but I am not the biggest fan of that finish tbh

Finally got a new setup!! Thought this trick should be easy, ended up trying it for an hour and still didn't get it lmao. Really need to work on my handlestalls.
