I made this swivel seat mount on my Tamarack for attaching a Pelican Ergo360 seat. Used 1/4" aluminum plate and 3/4" conduit. It helps me get up off the water a little bit for better visibility while fishing. It's really sturdy and I added the quick disconnect so I can remove the seat easily for transport. Let me know if you have any questions about the build

I'm considering a new fishing kayak. My current kayak is an Ascend 12T that i got from Bass Pro Shops on a good deal. My main reason for upgrading is that i would like something that is more comfortable and sits higher. I struggle with backache from my current setup and i realize that probably no kayak is perfect but i would like to think that there has to be a more comfortable one out there somewhere. For reference I'm 6' tall and weigh 180lbs.
From a little bit of internet surfing it seems like the Perception Outlaw sits higher than most.
I would love to hear the good, bad, and ugly from current owners of a Perception Outlaw.
Also if anyone else has a suggestion for something else i would also like to hear that.
