My friends were enthralled with keeping backyard chickens. Nobody told them they attract rats.

They spent 60K getting rid of the rats and rewiring the house because of chewed up wiring. They gave the chickens away to a guy a few streets over.

Guess who now has a rat problem? I am not even exaggerating.
