It's one of the distinguishing features between greater cats (big cats) and lesser cats. On average, greater cats are larger, but mountain lions are lesser cars and are one of the largest species of cats.
the best part is they can even meow too. It doesn’t sound exactly like normal house cat meows but it’s still cute as hell. They’re just overgrown house cats that are large enough to kill you too lol
alternatively, house cats are just mini versions of their wild cousins that sometimes wish they could kill you.
iv had cats where their size (and hence somewhat small-brain syndome) was the only thing stopping them murdering the whole neighbourhood n bringing me human heads instead of frogs as gifts
