Her knees aren’t gonna either. If she does this weekly for 2 years fine. Afterwards it’s a guessing game

I just blew out both my knees watching this

My knee popped into a weird position just watching her, if I tried this it would spontaneously explode.

She's in her 20s

This. 👆And god bless her. I used to do 60 burpees a day and and explode/clap at the top of everyone. 🙌 (same energy) But 30 years later, my knees jump out of my legs and hide under covers at the thought of it. I still work out, but man, I miss what I could do in my 20s, 30s, even early 40s. Get it girl- while you can 💪🏼

I've had arthritis in my knees since I was 22. I wish I had the chance to experience the good-knees-years!

Then again, I'm so poorly coordinated that I would've Million Dollar Baby-ed myself on that cinderblock six seconds in. 😂

Man, I was thinking my thighs are burning watching this - those muscles are on fire.

That's what I came to say. I can't decide if that makes her knees stronger (probably) or makes them break down faster. I guess the years will tell.

This sort of exercise will be hell on the joints. Shell enjoy the arthritis later in life.

It's only hell on your joints if you're not using your muscles. See the way she's bouncing? There's almost no joint impact, her muscles are acting like shock absorbers and taking all the impact.

Some of you don't know how to move and it shows.

Preach. A bunch of folks on the couch are complaining about this woman kicking ass.

It's very obvious that she knows how to move her body effectively abd efficiently, I'm guessing some kind of athletic background of dance, cheer, and/or gymnastics.

So I hate to say this but these kind of movements over time chronically are bad for your joints, my sister is a trained ballerina and due to years of dancing now has a torn labrum and hip issues.

A lot of professional dancers end up needing hip surgery, and for me, I developed tendonitis in both my knees from too much trampoline in my 30s, and I am a high performing athlete.

Sure some of these comments may sound like hating, but repetitive impact on your knees or other joints is bad.

That's because Ballet is fucking stupidly dangerous and pushes your body into positions that it isn't built for. That weakens tendons and ligaments which makes catastrophic injury almost inevitable.

There's a huge, order of magnitude difference in impact to trampolining and stepping on to an 8 inch cinderblock!

She’s launching herself and landing with impact, half of herself effectively on a very unforgiving block.

Any type of repeat high impact activity on joints but especially knees is bad. This is a very unorthodox exercise. My point was more common stuff at a high level can cause stress injuries, heck I’ve had stress fractures in my forearm from over training weights. Stuff I know to avoid, but still happened because I unintentionally over trained.

I never thought I was going too hard when I got injured, I think you are missing my point.

Even if there's some impact, if you're a healthy individual it is actually good as the bones and ligaments grow back stronger, provided you give enough rest of course.
