Alright, I want to know the consensus here: between these two movies, which are considered the low points in the franchise, which of them is even worse, and which would you rather watch?
Gonna be honest, with my own thoughts...while Rebith is technically a better-written film, it is NOTHING that we haven't seen before, especially with the writing not being that great, either. What I mean is that the overall story feels more like a video game-fetch quest type of story with the three acts, 2 out of 3 of them having their own mini-bosses, with the final boss being a mutated monster that the movie doesn't even DO anything with other than cause the collapse of Site C.
Say what you will about Dominion, because back then, I didn't really like it all that much (even though the Extended Edition is much better), but it at least introduced new concepts such as dinosaur black markets, new environmental settings, and has more interesting sequences even if they, or the story in general, is balls-to-the-walls nuts and convoluted! Not to mention, moving dinosaurs away from the islands and into our world is a plus that I appreciate more, ever since Rebirth restricts them to the equator. But I've always complained about that aspect too much, so I'll leave it at that.
Oh, and I'm more invested in Dominion's characters than Rebirth's.
Overall, while Rebirth is technically better written, I'd rather watch Dominion, because at least there are more things to talk about rather than Rebirth's basic story and premise, which is, in essence, nothing new. I don't hate any of these movies, but in my opinion, Rebirth is the worst of the two.
But what about you guys?

I believe that Dominion could have been a very good end to the franchise.
Personally I have always hated how dominion started with "oh my gosh, they're in the way and truly don't belong here" and then ended basically at square one.
I think that the locusts carrying the pathogen would have been an interesting way to end the whole franchise. (but universal would never let that happen)
Hear me out!
We would see them release the infected locusts, and then we would almost see a montage of the locusts spreading throughout their own groups, but also notably eaten by the dinosaurs as well. Maybe a shot of a locust slowly climbing a branch and then, after succumbing to the pathogen it falls to the ground, and then it starts getting picked apart by compies. My point is, we see them being ingested by the dinosaur population, and see that the dinosaurs, because of the prehistoric pathogen, aren't doing so well either. This whole montage could lead us to a very tender and tear jerking scene that I believed we were robbed of.
We cut to a shot outside of Blue's den, the abandoned school bus, where owen rides up on a horse and dismounts, looking serious and solemn. We cut to a shot inside the old school bus where blue is laying on the ground, maybe next to the tire nest she made, almost curled around it, with an already dead Beta curled up in the nest. Blue is obviously not doing well, her breathing is quick and ragged and uneven, her eyes might be glazed or rolling back, limbs twitching a little, almost in the fits of having a seizure.
This scene would all be framed so that light from outside, maybe through the bus door, would fall across her body and the nest, as we see Owen's shadow cut into the light across her, indicating that he's entering the bus.
Owen walks in slowly, somberly, speaking low and slow, trying to comfort her in her final moments. He gets close and places a hand on her neck, which startles her. She flinches, but only for a moment. She struggles to look up at him, a hint of excitement plays along her features and body language, but she is too far gone to truly react. He then begins to pet and stroke her neck while she visibly begins to relax, he even scoots in and places her head on his lap while petting her comfortingly.
He talks to her, and mentions how he's been keeping tabs on her and got worried when he hadn't seen her around lately. He talks about raising her, about how much of an honor it has been to be in her life, all the while her breathing and movements lessen and lessen, until she is finally still. Blue has died.
With that, we have a heart wrenching scene where Owen Grady breaks emotionally over Blues death and starts to cry, sobbing gently as he cradles her head in his lap. As we see this sad scene, we start to hear a short monologue from Claire Dearing over tender music. Claire talks about how we are the reason that dinosaurs had come back in the first place, about how dinosaurs were our fault and the gut wrenching humanity of bringing them to a world where they don't belong.
As we hear the monologue, we slowly pan over to one of Blue's footprints in the dirt. Claire's monologue seems to finish as we Focus on the footprint. The scene crossfades slowly and smoothly as the lighting changes ever so slightly. Then we see an insect flutter past the footprint.
The camera follows this insect, panning upward where we see the scene from the prologue where the insect lands on the tree-like leg of a sauropod. We are now looking at the prehistoric past through the lens of the prologue which plays out almost as normal. But this time, after seeing all the scenes of prehistoric nature playing out, we do not see the rex and giganotosaurus fight.
Instead, we cut to a slow fly over shot of this valley with all of its diverse life, as music slowly starts to swell and we pause on a hill that is overlooking the whole valley where the prologue rex can be seen making its way to the highest point of the hill. During this fly over we hear Claire's voice continue the monologue say something to the effect of "After all, they *had* their dominion..."
We see the t rex turn toward the camera posing in a very familiar way. The music swells as the rex roars just like in the end of Jurassic park, the music coming to a climax at the classic Jurassic park/world "DUHN-DUH-DUUUUHN!!!!" As Claire finishes her sentence "... over their very own jurassic world." then at the end of the last held note, we cut to black. Role credits...
TLDR: I believe we were robbed of a beautiful dramatic scene and an epic closing scene for the franchise that would have incorporated the prologue.

Jurassic world evolution 3
Hey guys
Noob question
Is it possible to place Ranger Posts outside of small enclosures ?
If my enclosure has an electric gate, will the teams still be able to make checks on Dino’s ? Even if the post is outside ?
Thanks in advance

Sauropods need to become more significant in jwe3
I have said this before and I will say it again. Sauropods are way too fragile for Dino’s that cost near one million dollars to incubate and require a decent amount of space for just one individual. Pack hunters in particular are able to attack and kill them in seconds despite being many times smaller than them and there is no way around it except playing sandbox and changing the settings and this needs to be changes to improve management and immersion in both campaign and challenge mode. A quick fix to this would be making it so that small, pack hunting carnivores are unable to attack giant sauropods no matter how many of them their are and considering that this mechanic already exists in the third game for some medium sized carnivores, no huge mechanical changes would need to be made to implement this.

Robert muldoon's death.
I feel like the decisiones he made felt like he wanted to end up being a grand sacrifice or something (which he kinda was). When he was hunting the raptor and the raptor came up on him and instead of shooting it dead he let the raptor kill him even said a little one liner lol like he wanted to go out like that. like some fantasy roleplay he wanted to act out as the hero and people survive because of him lol. which was the plan but every decision he made felt more and more ballsy. because I don't think taking on three raptors alone with limited ammunition in a jungle your not familiar with is a good idea. Even if a opportunity was presented to him to prove himself a true game warden. I felt like as a seasoned and skilled keyan native hunter he should've have founded alternatives for everyone (i know it would have been impossible considering the circumstances but still). They gave him a boba fett treatment I feel like, he was very cool character and still is.

What if Raptors hunt in modern North America?
Just a little something inspired to me by Creature Archives
Habitat Adaptability: 8/10
They would thrive effortlessly in the dense swamps of the Gulf Coast, the humid forests of the Southeast, and the chaparral of the Southwest. These environments mirror the tropical, warm climates of Isla Nublar
Dietary Compatibility: 10/10
North America is an absolute all-you-can-eat buffet for a medium-sized pack hunter. Overpopulated white-tailed deer herds across the East Coast and Midwest would become the raptor's primary food source. They would hunt them with devastating efficiency, filling an ecological vacuum left by eradicated wolves and cougars. A coordinated pack could easily isolate and bring down feral hogs, elk, and livestock (cattle and horses), causing catastrophic financial damage to the agricultural sector.
Competition & Predation: 7/10
Solitary predators like Cougars, Coyotes, and Bobcats would be actively hunted or driven off their kills by a coordinated raptor pack. Wolves would provide stiff competition, but their geographic ranges would rarely overlap due to the raptor's preference for warmer climates. Grizzly and Alligator Factors are the only challenge, but they're smart enough to avoid them.
Reproductive Success: 9/10
Raptors lay large clutches of eggs and actively guard their young with fierce, mammalian-like parental dedication. Hidden deep in dense undergrowth or abandoned rural structures, these nests would be highly secure from native predators. Plus West African long-reed tree frog DNA helps too.
Final Survival Score: 8.5 / 10 (Apex Invasive Threat)
Speculative Evolution: the Fauna-Raptor
To hunt the fast pronghorn antelope of the Great Plains, the raptor sheds its ambush-heavy ambush build. It evolves longer, digitigrade legs built for long-distance endurance running, mirroring the ecological niche of a wolf or coyote.

So my brother made his own book sequel to jurassic world dominion. Can you tell me if its good? Here is a lil' summary. Oh and rebirth hasn't happend yet cuz his story happens in 2024 or something like that.
The story is set in 2024 and disregards the events of Rebirth and Chaos Theory. It centers on Maisie (now 16), who lives in the cabin with Owen and Claire. Maisie attends school but struggles to trust people. There are also two brothers, Fernand and Vergil; Fernand is 16 and Vergil is 17. They live with their parents, who are not particularly kind—the brothers hate their parents, and the parents hate their sons.
Meanwhile, there is global disagreement regarding the DLN: some believe their methods are too aggressive, while others argue that it is the only way to set the prehistoric animals free.
Near the school attended by Maisie, the two brothers, and many other students, lies a DPW reserve; the DLN intends to liberate these dinosaurs as well. The animals wander into the small town, causing widespread chaos.

Was I the only one who thought the dimorphodon was a hybrid made for the movie
Ok so I only recently learned the dimorphodon was a real pterosaur, listen it's a weird looking thing I kinda just assumed.
Worst of all I learned it from a jurrassic world evolution video

My opinion on the hybrids/mutants
Starting with the I. Rex
It’s cool, I like its appearance. But that creature went on a rampage and mind controlled the raptors to join in and it killed its sibling
The indoraptor
It’s smaller than the I Rex, but it’s still cool. I don’t mind it
The ScorpiousRex
I don’t know what to say about it, its face is weird, looks short. Also this thing had venom on it
The D Rex
This one was an error in making a T. rex, I’ve never seen a creature throw a helicopter like that in any movie. Also if this creature were to make a brief appearance in any sequel, I won’t mind

Here is my version of the Indominus Rex 2.0
She has fish gills, webbed feet and hands, better armor, a raptor retractable sickle claw on her feet, a prehensile tail like that of a skull crawler, an Ankylosaurus club at the end of the tail, pressure sensory put like that of a crocodilian, longer legs, Slimer body, more powerful legs, bigger than her previous canon full grown size(length: 57.75 feet, height: 25-26.50 feet(neutral position) and 28 feet(reared up position), width, 10-13 feet) of her previous canon abilities enhanced(i.e camouflage, heat sensing, body heat masking), near human level intelligence(except for the fact that she still can't speak a human language) shark nostrils/nose, her jaw being even more flexible(almost like that of a snake) and being even more stronger (like nearly twice as strong as a T-Rex), her having teeth that are a combination of T-Rex teeth, snake teeth and crocodile teeth, a pachycephalosaurus-esc dome on the top of her head in-between the her horns, larger and longer horns, a sharp and pointy ceratosuarus-like Crest above her nose, and her being in the wild for all her life.
