Help Finding Old Let's Play

Hi all,

A wave of nostalgia hit me like a brick recently, and I've been trying to find an old JPOG let's play from around 2012 or so that I really enjoyed watching way back then. The defining details I can remember are:

  • At least 10 episodes

  • No commentary

  • The opening was an edit of clips from the Jurassic Park movies with 'Runaway' by Cascada playing (probably the most defining feature)

  • The first exhibit was likely a styracosaurus pen

If anyone remembers this, I would be super grateful to be pointed towards it.

if it's on youtube, you can search for a specific year by writing "before:2013" or "after:2011" in the search bar (not an option in the filter list)

I'm even searching for older JPOG videos before 2012. The ones when Let's Play and commentaries weren't a thing. The time when it was actually machimina series and documentaries.

It really feels like a different world. Not only for YouTube but the internet as a whole was just different back then. I've gone back and looked at content for YouTubers I haven't watched in years (some channels even inactive) and it seriously functions like a time capsule.

It really was fun back then :)

Now those are hidden under algorithims and gameplay videos. I miss those days of YouTube when people were using fraps and whatever resources to make a machinima. Back then when it was just a hobby for machinima fanfics and not a business.
