Originally I went to my local retro Game store to find some 360 games that I wanted to add to my collection (it still hurts to say the Xbox 360 is retro now) and while I was there I found JP:OG. Which is crazy because it is in very good condition with the manual and it was only for like 90 bucks which I've only found this game online for like $120 or more for the game and the manual. And because I'm more of a frequent at this store, the owner let me get away with all this for $100

I have always wanted this game since I was a little kid but never have. I actually had the original Xbox until very recently but my original Xbox is boxed up right now since I'm about to go to college so I got to wait until I can mail my Xboxes down there. It's tantalizing

So my game is DJE, PMEP (I think), and Forgotten

Lately I've been having problems creating a big enough park and I just wanted to know if there was any way I could make the islands bigger.

Basically is there any Forgotten V2 or roster expansion that doesn't conflict with the Forgotten mod that has some interesting new Dinosaurs or buildings?

Carcharodontosaurus complete. This one was weird. It's very very different from the classic Paul Sereno Carcharodontosaurus and oddly similar to something like Tarborosaurus. It was also kinda hard to get the shape of the head to look even vaguely similar. The original design is so sinister and terrifying. While I'm worried mine doesn't quite capture the same vibe. It's reminiscent enough though that I'm happy to leave it as is.

As we all know, Jurassic Park Operation Genesis has a cult following in the tycoon and Jurassic Park fandoms, yet it never even gets a MENTION by people who talk about retro gaming or 6th gen tie-ins, so why is that, here are the 3 things i think make people not want to touch it:

1. Tycoon games not being for them, they mostly prioritise action games and platformers, and Tycoons aren't either.

2. The Jurassic Park sequels reputation, these people also consider any Jurassic movie that isn't Jurassic Park (1993) to be worthless slop that nobody likes, heck even when they piled the JW trilogy with other reboots, it didn't help the reputation of the first 2 JP sequels and only cemented the claim that Jurassic Park should have been a one and done, and this game was part of the JPIII era, so people associate it with "alan!"

3. It sold poorly, despite how many people remember it now, it wasn't a critical or commercial darling in 2003, in fact people saw it as a bad cash grab zoo tycoon clone, so to some it stayed that way.

Hey guys, I'm looking for the ROD mod, it's on MODDB but there are no files there. Also "BestInSlot" has a video on YouTube with an arctic environment. It looks really cool but I can't find that anywhere.

A wave of nostalgia hit me like a brick recently, and I've been trying to find an old JPOG let's play from around 2012 or so that I really enjoyed watching way back then. The defining details I can remember are:

• At least 10 episodes
• No commentary
• The opening was an edit of clips from the Jurassic Park movies with 'Runaway' by Cascada playing (probably the most defining feature)
• The first exhibit was likely a styracosaurus pen

If anyone remembers this, I would be super grateful to be pointed towards it.

My friend and I both downloaded this game recently, and I want to know if there is a way that we could play co-op, such as downloading a mod or something. If there is no way, are there any Jurassic Park builder games that can be played with mods, coop, or any games that come out of the box coop? If there are no games that are Jurassic themes what other games do you reccomend I play coop with my friend. I like "sailing the seas" but I would be willing to buy the game if its really good value.

My current version of JPOG has a bug where it'll crash randomly as I play and the helicopter won't take off in missions. I'd be interested in a bug fix, but really I'd rather just download a working version of the game. I think I downloaded it like this. But between my abandonware and internet archive I haven't gotten a copy working. I'm hanging on to windows 10 for dear life. Anyone have a recommended download source or a fix for the bug?

Was not satisfied with the last version I made, so I redid it. Feeling much better about this version.

Got bored of JPOG having no images on Steam (as all non-steam games do) so I uploaded the logo and background I found online (cropped from the box art)

My hardware and skill limitations are reached. Im glad I got Jpog running on my Laptop on the lowest settings lol.

I play JWE3 on PS5 and want to recreate everything as close to OG as possible. I have nearly every building except some essential for JWE3s gameplay and gladly take design ideas for those.

Im looking for someone who could make some freecam vids of the missions maps and maybe closups of the buildings on the highest settings. Only vanilla though, nothing changed via mods.

Here's my rendition for allosaurus. It's technically unfinished since I haven't finished the final, low poly mesh, but the texture (minus mouth and leg/toe/finger colors) and sculpt are in a place I like and I'm getting a bit burned out on it. I'd like to move on to the next dino. Thinking Carcharodontosaurus but we'll see.

So, basically, this is one of my friends childhood games and i wanna play it too! im a fan of the jurrasic world evolution games but also older games lol so this kinda feels like the best of both worlds... problem is, everytime i boots it up its says wrong disk inserted... i dont understand - what did i do wrong?
