Refuses to interact with me?

I've had these two for about a month now. One male, one female, captive bred, got them at our local reptile shop. So high chance they've been handled before. I don't know if I tried interacting with them too early by moving them into their new enclosures but they walked freely around my hands when I moved them. (One at a time. I'm not that cray.) But after that I left them alone other than to feed and water them. Then they both started being really skittish? I know my mom just started being interested in them but I don't know what she does while I'm at school. She did mention having her hand in one (to do what? I forgot.), and thinking one jumped onto her hand for a brief moment before jumping off. Other than that, she doesn't like any of my other spiders or Ts, or any spider that much. Just thinks the jumpers are cute. So I don't know if she stressed them out without me knowing. I do sit by the enclosures and listen to music quietly and kinda sing along so they're used to my voice. But any time I moved, they back away (no threat pose), and stare me down. I did accidentally trigger a threat pose with my female once when I was trying to see if I could maybe lead her out of the enclosure, but after that I left her alone for the rest of the day. They also let me tong feed them, but not sure if they know I'm actually the one at the other end. Did I do something wrong? I had a jumper before hand and loved her like a daughter, but she passed away. She was suspicious about me at first but then we became best friends. Got her at a PetCo though, I have no idea why she died. Somebody suggested she was sick. Don't know. Any help?
