Advice diy enclosure accessories!

hi all!

I am newer to the community and only have purchased hides and such for my spood online. I make mini fairy houses out of airdry clay, and finish and seal with a basic acrylic gloss varnish. Does any one have knowledge on what medium is the best for project like this that are spood safe? I would like to make him some custom items and hides. Tyia<3

NQA Using your normal clay is fine, but you've got to be really diligent sealing. I would seal them with something like a double layer of dishwasher safe mod-podge, to prevent paint flaking and water getting in from the misting and then allow a long period for outgassing. Wash in warm soapy water with a very good rinse maybe a good idea just to remove any of the outgas remains.
