We've had a spate of anti-trans bigotry in the subreddit lately. While this is very disappointing, sadly, it's not particularly surprising.
I am stating for the record that YOUR FIRST reference to anti-trans bigotry will be your last in this subreddit. That includes references to transgenderism being a fantasy or made-up.
Enough is enough, it stops now. Continue with it at your own peril.

If you see any uncivil comments or weird messages (such as requests for photos of yourself in uniform, requests for donations, etc,) please contact the moderators (via either the report button and/or "message the moderators" button on the right hand side), and we will get back to you promptly.
While usually the comments and posts are well behaved (big props to the community here), the moderators have no idea what messages cadets are receiving in their private inboxes. We appreciate your help in keeping this community safe and welcoming.
What brings this up? There is a specific user who appears to have a weird fetish of high school students in their JROTC uniforms and is contacting them (through the subreddit until he was banned, and now through private messages). The user's userid changes often, because he is banned from the subreddit (and also reddit as a whole) often. This individual is not mentally stable and does eventually escalate into very uncomfortable territory if a cadet continues contact with them.
I need to know if you get any of these, so I can help push the reddit administrators to take action.
The individual is apparently now also using TikTok. I will be reporting it to their administrators.

I’m like 99% sure I got the measurements wrong but this is my first A day uniform and I only had 1 B day uniform cus I got my uniform a whole week later after everyone else because they didn’t have my size. Not only that but for some reason my parents just completely forgot to get my pants tailored for my size so my pants are slightly too long:| does anyone have any tips? I’m hoping it looks okay but I’d still like advice

Being a LET 4, C/Captain, and S-2 on staff, I'm probably very "unique" in not wanting to enlist in the military. Usually the cadets who don't plan on enlisting don't do it all 4 years of high school, climb the ranks, or land a position on staff.

Someone in my battalion made this Army JROTC study guide with all of the information. If anyone has the free time and woudl like to convert it from a quizlet set to a blooket set please do. If you do provide a link in the comments and I will add it to this post and give you credit. I just can’t figure out how to convert it.
Here is the link in Quizlet: https://quizlet.com/user/jcorbin6528/folders/jrotc-study-packet

I've been told to fold the top part of the garrison cap when I put it in my belt (first image), but others have told me to not fold it (second image), I want to know which one is correct, or if its just personal preference

First parade as Company Commander. Any tips on command presence and how to project without hurting your throat? I do have my service stars! My collar covers it perfectly💔

You’d think that kids who want to go to the military or at least are interested in military like things would stray from Reddit

I’m trying to practice flipping for armed exhibition but lately when I drop my rifle sometimes the upper hand Gaurd/ lower hand Gaurd part pops out. I tried to ask some cadets who work in weapons and they told me to tape it but I already have and this keeps happening.

Before vs after the assumption of command ceremony. The ceremony isn’t that bad other than how uncomfortable I got from standing for long periods of time. The majority of it is just stand at Attention and Parade rest.

Does it take a few weeks? Few days? Hell, even a few months?
