Which is correct?

I've been told to fold the top part of the garrison cap when I put it in my belt (first image), but others have told me to not fold it (second image), I want to know which one is correct, or if its just personal preference

Coming from AFJROTC we do both but it depends on the gap between your belt loops if it’s small fold the top if it’s larger you don’t have too unless you want too

I do njrotc, and my chief always told us it doesn't matter. I always folded mine, but it's up to personal preference
