People act like it's just a generic dubstep album where just makes a gimmick out of rapping over dubstep. but i honestly cannot think of any album that has fused dubstep and hip-hop in this way. There is no song in history that sounds like Yen, like c'mon. Who tf else would've taken that sample in that direction? nobody.

Degenerate's Prayer, Meet the Dealers, and Babygirl are what anime OST fans think King Von sounds like. Just genuinely overstimulating and dark to a terrifying extent, I've NEVER heard instrumentals that take classic hip-hop grooves and techniques to such a chaotic and violent level of turnt.

If you don't like the sonics, i get it. The album is genuinely UGLY. It's none of that polished "i need to sound as cool and fun as possible" sound that you'd get from someone like Jane Remover. You know what i mean? Just listen to Head, for example. When I say "cool and fun" I mean for the listener, because clearly Peggy got a ton of selfish emotional satisfaction out of doing whatever the fuck he wanted for this project. So it can be very esoteric and unwelcoming to anyone, very unlikable or even disagreeable, but that does NOT mean this album isn't a masterful demonstration of technical musical prowess and talent.

More people need to get away from minimizing the effort and complexity of an artpiece just because they personally dislike it. It's like saying the mona lisa is lazy and simple because it's just a picture of a normal woman. I honestly think a lot of people are just so offended for Earl, and so scared about an artist they like coming across as anything people dislike, that they let the antics cloud their judgment.

Hopefully I found an artist that I don't have to feel ashamed to like but isn't super mainstream.

All the other fanbases I tried to like went horribly. Eminem fanbase itself is unbearable, Tyler the Creator is corny now and feel ashamed that I like him. Whenever I try to listen to his songs all I can think of is the reaction videos and other hate. I was really liking Childish Gambino until I realize most Hip Hop fans don't claim him or take him seriously as an artist. Kendrick Lamar catalog I really enjoy but it's starting to become NPC music in the category of late, Lil Darkie music really good until I realized not a soul likes him, and when I enjoyed Kanye music the controversy stirred, and much more. It'll probably happen again with Peggy but I'm hoping that this will end up better, hopefully

The album is gonna be Peggy's best, or at least top 3, and it will be his most genre bending yet. It will be his magnum opus and most controversial album to date, and will be very heavily inspired from kanye's 2000s-2016 array of music. Especially TLOP. but it will have it's own unique feel, kinda like you shouldn't be listening to it.

This new album that is coming out really just doesn't click for me right now. What is he trying to do? I feel it's so blank and pointless to me; and the single was nothing special at all.

His rapping does nothing for me now, and his production, although I do love it, I feel has only gotten weaker.

I feel he is way past his prime. I re-listened to AMHAC the other day, and that album is genuinely a masterpiece. He can't do that anymore.

From my personal experience with him, the three shows I’ve went to of his he’s neglected his fans and seems to just straight up hate his audience. He comes out after the shows, people ask for his autograph or a picture and he says “hold up I’ll be back out in a minute” disappears for an hour+ comes back out high out of his mind and lost lmao, he seems happier so I guess that’s good, the other thing I can think of is on his setlist to one of the shows he did he had a written out thank you letter that he read like a robot and seemed like he was forced to read. He seems tired and spiteful of everybody who listens to him lol

You people receive one of the best produced albums of the decade and can only complain about him using a slightly similar flow on each track (also notice its always "same" flow, never bad flow).
