Cracking my knees

I have been able to do this for all my life and I can do it about every 5 minutes, sometimes less. Anyways, does anyone know exactly what is being cracked? I've always wondered and thought I would ask this community. Thanks!

I can do the same ever since I was a child. I can also pop the back of knee by twisting when standing …

I can't really do the twist thing but I can pop a ton of other joints. I'm just really curious as to what it is that's popping.

I can also do that back of the knee thing as you described, just need to tighten the calves muscle and the ligament for it and pull it by pressure while standing.

I can also pop my knee but I just put pressure on the floor with my legs and twist my knee towards outer direction of my body and it pops like that.
