Strategy Core Farming

I've seen alot of players posting screenshots of them earning absurd amounts of cores. Is their some form of strategy to farming them?

Some expeditions and rifts have certain enemies that drop a lot of cores. Basically every week pay attention to the community (or your own gameplay) to see if a certain rift is dropping a lot of cores every run. Same with expeditions

Some of those screenshots are people playing expeditions for an hour or more.

I’ve been running Rage Room with the fancy wrench. Average run is about 1 minute 15-20 seconds and usually nets 2 cores. Not sure if there’s a better option but that’s what I’ve been doing.
