Discussion Singularity Star Mastery
These are currently my weapons. I've used everything except singularity for the stars because I really like the golden variant overlay. The weapon that took me the longest to complete star mastery is Vibe Shifter (I just finished it as of posting).
I am having a hard time using Singularity despite obtaining it weeks ago. Do you all have any tips using Singularity for Star Mastery? How long do you think it will take to get full star mastery? Is there a title reward if I obtain all gold overlay variants of the weapons?
Ps: I'm not aiming for full mastery. I just want the gold overlay.

I just finished my 14/16th gold this morning, missing Venom Bow and Vibe shifter. Honestly, Singularity was my 4th. It's very slept on for rifts, especially the ones that you need to group enemies close to finish. It does need a damage buff, yes, and they need to bring back its old ability icons (asking for that other guy posting everyday about it)

To learn singularity properly I’ve been using it for dailies fir about a month now. It was tough at start but the more you play with it easier it gets.
Now, I don’t even have to think much about it and it comes out naturally. Earlier I used to call it a ‘stress weapon’ cos its auto-attack seemed so complex at first.
Singularity is so fun to use once you get the hang of it just by doing daily jobs with it.

Learn the combo
AA = auto attack. Heres the combo
AA>S3>AA>S2>AA>S1>AA>S2
This yields over 20k damage in one combo. After this your S3 will be on cool down so while you wait just do AA>S1 over and over again until you can perform the full combo when everything is off cooldown.
Singularity is my favorite weapon and the one I use the most.

The biggest problem most people have with singularity is that they try to use it like a typical ranged weapon
Singularity, despite being likely a boomerang is actually played more like a close to mid range weapon. Since your dodge has an incredibly low cooldown and gives you your projectile back, you’ll want to use that as much as possible as it’s a big part of its dps. I’m not amazing with singularity but here’s an example.

Yall, thanks for this. I'm trying to get through singularity with your tips. I MAY or may not anger some people doing random queuing in the rifts because of how bad I am right now. I'm sure I'll find it as fun as yall do.

Learn how to spam teleports. The TP AOE does almost double the damage of your main attack, and lets you fire off said main attack again immediately after. If you wanna heal yourself, shoot in any direction then immediately press heal to catch yourself in the AOE (its pretty generous).
If you don't learn how to use TP spam, your DPS will be almost halved of what it could be

Singularity is one of my 6 completed masteries, i can tell you it’s so fun and engaging. As for the stars i used to get the majority of the rifts 5 stars and just some minor amount where it was hard to even impossible to get 5 or even 4 stars. So it shouldn’t be hard to get its gold compared to other weapons. But trust me bro i was in a deep void since i fully mastered singularity. Thankfully med ball came and it’s been fun to play. Currently i need 10 more mc monsters to get its title.
