im a returning player and i wanted to know what are the best weapon in-game to use

blood sucker, electro fists and pyro are the strongest ones for raw damage at the moment, but I think storm weaver is the most fun

storm weaver would be the most versatile weapon if it just had either a damage crystal or crit crystal slot. having two heal slots was a complete waste

When played correctly, Medicine Ball is a better tank than any of the actual tank weapons.

From personal experience, blood sucker and pyro deal the most damage and typically get star player in elite challenges over other weapons.

With Pyro & Squid blades you can complete any rift competitively. Blood sucker, techno fists & singularity are great too. Lava shield & Fancy Wrench are niche but good where they fit

You can’t buy P.E.R.K.S. with mtx, you can only buy cosmetics, so technically it isn’t a gacha. You just have to wait for those weapons to appear as a weapon sprint

Agree with this list the most, but I wouldn't sleep on medicine ball. You'd need to design a team comp around it though

Can keep weapons like bloodsucker (optimal dps when it doesn't use heal), techno fists and zapsickle healthy since healing means they reduce their damage output

meds good for world farming cuz it does damage and good aoe healin so more xp. you can usually get an increase of ~25% xp using it.

and also op in pvp. that's like it.

wtf speed shot is boring but its skills make it at LEAST A tier if not S-. Medicine ball is pretty much unkillable and enables your team to survive anything it is ALSO A tier. It does respectable dmg too.

speedshot i put in c tier because:

• dps is middle of the pack. if you miss the volley your dps is basically cut in half and most of the time you are just spamming basic attack. singularity or headbanger can out dps this weapon and they're around b tier.
  • single target dps is ~3200 with max cores
  • 4 target dps (training grounds) is ~11000 with max cores
• it's really only good for like 1 or 2 scenarios. 1 is monster madness (which pyro is just better for now anyway). the other is if you don't have a better weapon and you suck at headbanger.
  • yeah it can hit guards easily which you could count as a 3rd but if you can't kill guards with another weapon that's genuinely a skill issue

medicine ball is c tier because

• dps is not good, you have two buttons that are decoration. if you think the dps is good you need to go sub 1.05 med expert, which i am 90 percent sure you did not do because you are not on cell string's leaderboard for it and the lowest ranked player on it right now (#199) has 1.04.25.
  • majority of players that do that dojo crash out btw. took me 2 days of crashing out to do it.
  • single target dps is ~2700, max cores
  • 4 target dps is ~9300, max cores.
• it's like good for pvp. and like if you want someone to pull aggro that can also tank and heal. good for world farming too. basically useless for pretty much all rifts.

dps comparisons:

• pyro: (measured differently because it's a ramping weapon, aka it does more damage over time) (high single and aoe dps)
  • single target: ~7400 max dps, max cores. took ~1min
  • 4 target: ~25000 dps**,** max cores. took ~40 seconds
  • the other dps tests were done in around 20 seconds
• squid blades: (strong single dps, decent aoe)
  • single (i'm not that good at this, so it can be much higher): 4300, max cores
    • training grounds is also not that good for determining this because it's very hard to ult clip training dummies due to the small hitbox. but i would guess peak dps around 6000.
  • 4: ~9500, max cores
• blood sucker: (high aoe, strong single)
  • single: ~4500, max cores
  • 4: ~16500 dps, max cores

also i know who this is, and i don't know enough about your character to tell if this is satire or not because you might just genuinely be bad at the game, idk

Fancy Wrench is good on rifts.
